Dan Erlewine grew up in Michigan and Ohio. He spent most of his childhood outdoors, exploring forests and creeks.

He moved to Austin Texas in the early 2000’s joining Apple Inc., moving out to the Bay Area a few years later.

His love of technology, the outdoors, and exploration led him to Santa Cruz, CA where he lives with his family.

He's a bass player, loves music, and was named for his uncle. However, he's not famous guitar repairman the "real" Dan Erlewine
